The Footology Therapy™ Session

A Footology Therapy session takes approximately two hours.

It starts off by the client completing a questionnaire while soaking their feet in a fragrant footbath.
The client lies down on a comfortable bed and the footologist uses gentle touch to relax the client's feet, to prepare him/her for a journey of inner discovery. It is important for the client to know that a restful period or even a deep sleep on completion of the treatment is supportive to the healing process and therefore encouraged.

In a relaxed environment, combined energy fields become enhanced, bringing about a feeling of unity on a deep inner level. It has been found that in this state of totally relaxation, pressing emotional issues in the client's life will re-surface spontaneously to be reflected on the soles of the feet causing the feet to come alive with the symbolic foot-language, which meaning the client will find in his/her subconscious mind with the assistants of a qualified Footologist. A combination of experience, knowledge and intuition are used to guide the client into re-discovering his/her own individual foot story to relive ‘old' emotional trauma and sense the relieve of the release and experiencing  the healing of the scars.

After the decoding of the feet, the footologist will perform a gentle foot massage, which has a calming and balancing affect on the client, creating a favourable healing environment.
